Mortels Sheepskin Factory is a multi-award winning family owned Australian company and home to The Big UGG boots, located in the Hunter Region. Mortels have been manufacturing and retailing UGG boots since 1958. Mortels offer an interactive and fully guided tour of their factory and under the same roof of this purpose built facility is The Sheep's Back Museum, The Cafe and Mortels Factory Outlet which stocks a large range of sheepskin products, as well as cowhide, oilskin, and leather products. Mortels also has a second retail outlet at Warners Bay in the beautiful Lake Macquarie Region stocking all the same products as their flagship store.
