In 2005 Luke and Rebecca Ashton decided to take the plunge and start their own business! Eventually purchasing their first truck, Luke operated it for the next 3 years growing the business to the point of needing a second truck to keep up. This was the beginning of Ozwide Freight. Our Growth has seen us expand from our first depot in 2013 with a mere 900 square metres & around 150plts of storage, to now offering over 8000 square metres and warehousing in excess of 4000 pallets! Today our fleet includes 12 B-Doubles, 3 Semi trailers a fleet of body trucks as well as Rail & Sea Containers. Our ongoing relationship with Western Star trucks and Vawdrey trailers, is a big part of Ozwide Freight. The quality & service these two companies offer, ensures we can service our customers with confidence. We even have our own maintenance team to ensure reliability & more importantly, safety. This played a major part when Luke decided to offer a North Queensland & Western Australian service
