Chase & Hide started with humble beginnings; the first rugs were displayed and sold from the fence at the boys’ primary school at Wellcamp. An opportunity arose when a gentleman passing by invited Chase & Hide to sell hides at an event run by the Darling Downs Cutting Club the following week and the ball started rolling from there. In the first year of business, Vynka and often the boys spent most weekends travelling to the many markets and events the Darling Downs are renowned for, which helped build a broad customer base from all over the region. With lots of hard work, pops up, markets and a home based studio. Vynka has now, in her boys words gotten a "real job" Chase & Hide still travels to events, but life with two school-aged and rugby mad boys was made a little easier when the website launched and Vynka opened a storefront in Grand Central Toowoomba.
